MILWAUKEE, Wis. (WRN) — A new report provides ideas on development around the Milwaukee Brewers’ ballpark.
The study presented last month to the owners of American Family Field, the Wisconsin Professional Baseball District, suggests adding a hotel, apartments, retail and office space, and gathering spaces outside the stadium.
The additions around the ballpark would lead to the loss of anywhere from 1,600 to 3,000 parking spaces.
Three different areas near the stadium have been proposed for the development project. Total cost estimates for the development range between $700- and $800-million.
