HUDSON, Wis. (NWN) — An inmate at the St. Croix County Jail died Saturday morning.
The sheriff’s office said a 22-year-old man in the work-release dorms, was found unresponsive just before 6:30 a.m. on Saturday morning. Life-saving aid was given but the man was pronounced deceased at the jail.
The St. Croix County Sheriff’s Office has requested the Dunn County Sheriff’s Office to conduct an investigation, which is standard policy for serious incidents inside the jail.
The inmate’s name was not released.
