HUDSON, Wis. (NWN) — The inmate who died in the St. Croix County Jail on Saturday has been named.
The sheriff’s office said the deceased was 22-year-old Ethan P. Tjader, of River Falls. A cause of death was not specified at this time and his death was under investigation by the Dunn County Sheriff’s Office.
Tjader was serving nearly 10 months of conditional jail time after failing treatment court. His felony conviction was from April 2025, for being a party to and repeatedly maintaining a drug trafficking place.
