MILWAUKEE, Wis. (WRN) — A new national Marquette Law School poll finds 60% of adults disapprove of the way federal immigration agents are doing their job.
The poll released Wednesday was conducted after the fatal shooting of Renee Good by ICE agents in Minneapolis, but prior to the shooting death of Alex Pretti there last month. Poll results show partisan divisions with 80% of Republicans approving of the work of ICE, while 23% of independents and just 5% of Democrats approved.
The poll included just over a thousand adults and was conducted January 21–28, with a margin of error of plus or minus 3.4 percentage points.
