RICE LAKE, Wis. (NWN) — A running club has set foot in Rice Lake.
Rice Lake Running hosts a group run Saturday mornings at the Northwoods Cycle shop in downtown Rice Lake.
Endurance coach Catt Stevens says the routes cover 5k, or about three miles, and all abilities and paces are welcome.
“Typically we run pretty much any pace. We ran a 12:30 was at the back of the pack so at any point you know you can come here and run whatever pace you want to run and you’re never gonna get left behind there’s always gonna be someone there you know either with you or making sure that you’re all finished and then you know stay for coffee after and chatting with good friends and just have a good time. If you want to come and run a really fast 5k feel free or if you just want to do kind of a run walk there’s absolutely no judgment,” Stevens said. “Everyone is welcome and we hope that everyone feels that they are welcome.”
The group runs start at 7 a.m. on Saturday.
