RICE LAKE, Wis. (WJMC) — Due to the extreme cold temps today, the following schools are closed:
Ascension Academy – Cumberland, Barron (there is virtual learning), Birchwood, Bruce, Cameron, Clayton, Cumberland, Flambeau, Ladysmith, Luck, Prairie Farm (no Friday evening activities), Rice Lake, Turtle Lake, and Webster.
The following organizations and agencies are closed:
Barron County AddLife Transit, Barron County ADRC Senior Dining, Barron County Developmental Services, Inc., Barron County Meals on Wheels, Barron Public Library (Friday and Saturday), Cupboard & Closet – Barron, Rice Lake Public Library (Friday and Saturday), Rice Lake Senior Center, Thomas St. Angelo Public Library – Cumberland (Friday and Saturday), and Washburn County Meals on Wheels.
