HAYWARD, Wis. (WJMC) — A Silver Alert issued for a man missing from Hayward.
The Sawyer County Sheriff’s Office said 72-year-old Donald Hoeft left Hayward after dropping his wife at the hospital late Monday evening. He was going to fuel his vehicle and return shortly but has not as of Tuesday afternoon.
Cameras show his vehicle, a silver 2018 Jeep Compass, driving north on Highway 63, in Cable. The vehicle has the license plate APK-5619. He is described as a white male, 6’1″, 184 pounds, with blue eyes, gray or partially gray hair. He was wearing a tan T-shirt, blue overalls, black shoes, wire-frame glasses and a gold wrist watch.
