RICE LAKE, Wis. (WJMC) — Support a local animal shelter tomorrow in Rice Lake.
The annual Tails and Tires show is set for tomorrow at the Rice Lake Speedway, from 10 a.m until 2 p.m. A variety of vehicles will be on display, from cars and trucks, to UTVs, motorcycles, race cars, and go karts.
Dutch Beckett, Humane Society of Barron County board of directors, gives a preview.
“We’re going to have some animals from the shelter there, so you’ll be able to play with the animals, and potentially adopt, fill out applications. We’ll have our clothing booth there, so you can support the animals by purchasing hoodies and tshirts, stickers and buttons,” Beckett said. “Raffles and silent auction items, which all have been donated by people of our community. Bucket drop raffle tickets, where you can buy a stretch and pick your prize. And then we’ll have some higher end silent auction items, where you can just put on your bid there.”
Admission is free. All proceeds will benefit the Humane Society of Barron County.
