ST. CROIX FALLS, Wis. (NWN) — A traffic stop and K-9 sniff led to the arrest of two people who are accused of possessing distribution quantities of methamphetamine.
St. Croix Falls Police said equipment violations led to a traffic stop on Highway 8 early morning on June 15.
After a K-9 alerted to possible narcotics, police searched the vehicle and found approximately a quarter pound of methamphetamine, along with about an ounce of psilocybin mushrooms, nearly an ounce of marijuana, a small amount of MDMA and drug paraphernalia including digital scales and packaging material.
26-year-old Jasmine R. Marcyan, of Frederic, and 36-year-old Tyler D. Jacobson, of Balsam Lake, were arrested and booked in the Polk County Jail and face felony and misdemeanor charges in Polk County Circuit Court.
